Little Dribblers Preschool-Grade 2

Little Dribblers Basketball is an introduction to organized basketball for boy and girl players who are in Pre-School, Kindergarten, or Grades 1 and 2 and have not yet played organized basketball or who have played but are not quite ready for our competitive leagues.  Class sessions are 1 hour per week and run 8 weeks.

The program is designed for our youngest players to learn the game of basketball and have fun.  Our goal is to teach basic basketball fundamentals and encourage the children to develop an interest in the sport and improve each week. 

PRE-SCHOOL and KINDERGARTEN players play on a half court with the baskets lowered to seven feet.  Players are instructed in 40 minutes of dribbling and shooting drills prior to each game.  Players then are divided into teams and get to play live "games" to apply their newly developed skills! Class size is limited to 15 players and each child receives a Little Dribblers game t-shirt.

FIRST and SECOND GRADE players play on a half court with the baskets lowered to eight feet.  Players are instructed in 30 minutes of dribbling and shooting drills prior to each game.  Players then are divided into teams and get to play 30 minute live "games" to apply their newly developed skills! Class size is limited to 15 players and each child receives a Little Dribblers game t-shirt.
